Windows includes numerous icons already, or you can import your icons. If you want to place your new shortcut somewhere besides the Desktop, right-click on your new shortcut and Pin it to the Taskbar or drag and drop the shortcut anywhere you want, like the Taskbar, for example.įinally, we can change the icon to anything you like.

Next, you can either type in the address, or select Browse to find an executable and click on Next.įinally, you can name the shortcut anything you like and click Finish. To create a shortcut, right-click on your desktop and select New > Shortcut.
